A graduate of Wesleyan University and the Wharton School of Business, Yaron Ben-Zvi loves building things that make a difference. That’s how he became co-founder and CEO of Haven Life, MassMutual’s in-house startup that sets the pace for life insurance innovation. Yaron worked with several startups before launching Haven Life in industries as varied as asset management and media, yet life insurance’s complexity and opportunity kept calling to him. When Yaron and his wife were expecting their first child, Yaron decided to purchase a life insurance policy but didn’t know much about his options or what kind of life insurance to buy. When he decided to buy term life insurance, he was surprised he couldn’t purchase it online.
After completing the strenuous process of purchasing term life insurance, Yaron felt there had to be a simpler, more convenient and online way to purchase it. In 2015, he co-founded Haven Life to bring this simple idea to life.
